As I won a pair of tickets for Beatyard music festival out in Dun Laoghaire thanks to the competitions that HB were running throughout the summer in conjunction with a purchase of their ice pops in participating stores. The festival itself was on the August

Bank Holiday weekend with Day One of the festival beginning that Friday Afternoon August 4th with Jenny Greene, and Family Stone Music and I of course had Jameson Whiskey in hand in the fun event area. As the day progressed the atmosphere and buzz around Beatyard just got even better with Jenny Greene second set in the Eatyard area which was off the hook. In the main event area when The Wailers started singing they really got the crowd buzzing and singing along and I thought I saw every type of crowd reaction to a band coming on to stage that was until The Jackson came on and everyone literally went insane and the noise must been heard from space it was that loud which purely surreal. The night was topped off by this unreal DART journey home which Niamh can testify to 😂🤣.

On Day two of the festival, the sun was bright in the sky, Niamh and me were enjoying the atmosphere and music and of course I sampling Beefeater Gin and listening to a talk and tasting Jameson Caskmates IPA whiskey which had just been launched on the market. The line up of the day began with Sean OB continued with The Scratch and We are Le Boom before we got to experience and enjoy both Sing along Social and Lords of Strut who we have seen a few times since we first saw them in Melbourne really got the crowd interacting and involved which really made everyone enjoy them all the more and made Niamh and me laugh, giggle, sing and dance along as even we got caught up in all the fun of it which was great and particular highlights of our day.
